Donald Carrol

Non-Executive Chairman


Don has extensive experience in the international resources business and has expertise in the development and marketing of most mineral and energy products. In a career spanning 40 years, initially with Rio Tinto and then BHP Billiton; he has held a number of senior positions including President BHP Billiton Japan, President BHP Billiton India, Group General Manager BHP Billiton Power and Group General Manager Marketing Asia and Vice President Investor Relations for BHP Billiton. He has experience in the merger and acquisitions sector including the merger of BHP with Billiton. Don holds a Degree in Mining Engineering from Sydney University and is a long-standing member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Nicholas Wakim

Founder, Director & CEO


Nick brings over 30 years of commercial experience and has enjoyed entrepreneurial success in diverse business undertakings. A dedicated investor with a background in building companies and developing technology across sectors such as cleantech, corporate advisory, investment banking and IT services. He has previously advised Australia and Saudi Arabia on trade negotiations and acted as special advisor for international corporations and ruling family members from the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Stephen Romic

Director


Stephen has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He heads up DFS Portfolio Solutions, which provides portfolio management solutions to the wealth management market. Stephen has established strong networks in the investments and funds management industry, with institutional relationships built up over many years. Stephen holds a Master of Applied Finance and a Degree in Banking and Finance.

David Wheeler

Non-Executive Director


David has 30 years of senior executive management, directorships and corporate advisory experience. He is a foundation director and partner of Pathways Corporate, a boutique corporate advisory firm that undertakes assignments on behalf of family offices, private clients and ASX listed companies. David has experience on public and private company boards and currently holds several directorships and advisory positions in Australian companies. David is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Arnold Wolf

Director, Project Execution


Arnold has extensive experience directing overall efforts for large and medium sized industrial Capex projects, including process conceptualization and design, project development and, industrial site operation and optimisation. His project portfolio spans 25 years and includes projects executed on 4 continents for companies such as Sulzer, Lyondellbasell and Rockwood Lithium. His process expertise includes chemical refining, geothermal exploration, geothermal power plant design, mineral brine extraction and concentration, potash process design and lithium purification and conversion. His most recent Capex portfolio addition included overall leadership, from design conceptualisation through final commissioning of Rockwood’s 20,000 MT lithium carbonate facility in La Negra, Chile. Arnold holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and professional certificates in Engineering, Process Safety Management, Project Management and Lean Six Sigma.

Malcolm Smith

Capital Markets Advisor


Malcolm has over 25 years of experience in capital markets on both the sell-side and buy-side and provides a variety of corporate finance services including capital-raising, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business development, restructuring and due diligence. Prior to founding West Harbour Capital, he was the CFO, CCO and a financial analyst at EdgeHill Partners, an independent, specialised manager of alternative investment strategies. At EdgeHill Partners, he was responsible for operations, evaluating investment opportunities and managing the currency hedging program for the funds.
