Welcome to Phoenix Lithium! Our journey began in 2012 as we embarked on a detailed assessment and understanding of the lithium space. This reconnaissance mission took the best part of 3 years as we travelled to all major operating jurisdictions; meeting governments, companies and individuals along the way. 

The first lesson we learned was the importance of the right technical expertise in developing lithium projects. This statement sounds obvious and is truer today than at any previous time, as most junior lithium companies still lack the lithium-specific technical capabilities required to successfully develop their projects. I am proud to say that we have brought together a world-class team with lithium delivery expertise, laying solid foundations for our future endeavours.

Our second task was to identify the region and lithium resource. We concluded that we wanted to develop large-scale brines in the USA. After a few false starts, we honed in on the Imperial Valley and knew this was the right location with requisite capacity, scale and conditions. 

Lithium projects generally trade-off the environment with profitability. We made the conscious decision to prioritise both, without compromise. We are fortunate that East Brawley achieves a unique blend of powerhouse economics coupled with clean and green initiatives. We are eager to showcase a water-neutral and energy-efficient blueprint for lithium production.

Phoenix Lithium is at the forefront in the race to de-carbonise our economies.
